Our Vision
Rivers Fellowship is more than a church, congregation, or spiritual social club.
It is the vision of something far greater. It is not an institution, but a living, active movement of God’s Spirit through people of commitment. The following vision statements help form the framework from which our ministry flows.
It is the vision of a people committed to gather in worship of the Father in Spirit and in truth, providing an atmosphere for the refreshing Rivers of God’s presence to minister.
(John 4:23,24; Acts 3:19)
It is the vision of a people committed to serving together as a refuge and oasis of fellowship, family, and unity where believers can be known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged.
(Isaiah 25:4; Acts 2:42-47)
It is the vision of a people committed to grow in authentic spiritual maturity, living to give sacrificially as missionaries and stewards of God's grace.
(Ephesians 4:7-14; Romans 12:5-8)
It is the vision of a people committed to go forth in God's mission, flowing as a channel of the Rivers of God’s Spirit, extending His hope, healing, restoration, and renewal through relationship and community, wherever our influence may reach.
(Ezekiel 47:9-12; Isaiah 35:3-7)
